Who we are

Between Visits is a trade name of Peter Bittner Enterprises LLC (5413 Orca Dr NE, Tacoma, WA 98422). It is an early-stage pilot application that supports families in pediatric developmental follow-up between clinic visits. It sends a small number of text messages with a secure link to a child's care plan summary and short check-in questions. No real patient information is used at this stage; messages are sent only to people who have explicitly opted in and confirmed their own mobile number.

What we collect

Text-message program: the mobile number provided at enrollment, the messages we send, and the replies we receive (typically single numbers such as "1"–"5"). Message content never includes names, dates of birth, diagnoses, or other identifying health details — sensitive information lives only behind the secure link, which requires a signed, expiring token to open.

Website: if you use the contact form, we store the name, email address, organization, and message you provide so we can respond. If you enter an email address to explore the demonstration dashboard, we store that email to personalize the session and so we can follow up about the project. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this site.

Mobile information is never shared

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile numbers and text-message opt-in data and consent are not shared with or sold to any third party. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except for the messaging platform that delivers the texts on our behalf.

Service providers

We use a small number of infrastructure providers to operate the service — website hosting, a managed database, and Twilio for text-message delivery. They process data only to provide the service, never for their own marketing. We do not sell personal information to anyone.

Cookies

The site uses only functional cookies: a sign-in session cookie for the dashboards and a cookie that remembers your language preference (English/Spanish). No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are used.

Message frequency and rates

Message frequency is low: about seven check-ins per family over the months between clinic visits, plus replies to questions you send us. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan.

Opting out and getting help

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts at any time. Reply HELP for assistance. Opting out of text messages does not affect a child's care.

Retention and your choices

We keep information only as long as needed to operate the pilot program. You can ask us to delete your contact-form submission, demo email, or text-message enrollment at any time via the contact form or the email below, and we will honor the request promptly.

Children

The service is used by adult caregivers and clinicians, not by children directly. At this stage all patient-related content is illustrative; any future use with real families will be governed by agreements with the participating clinic and applicable health-privacy law.

Not for urgent concerns

Between Visits is not for urgent medical concerns. If you are worried about your child's health now, call your clinic. In an emergency, call 911.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date above. Material changes to how we handle text-message data will be communicated before they take effect.
