Between Visits

Text Message Program — Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 2026

  1. Program description. Between Visits sends text messages to enrolled caregivers containing a secure link to their child's care plan summary and short structured check-in questions (answered by replying with a number). This is an early-stage pilot; no real patient information is used at this stage, and messages are sent only to people who have opted in and confirmed their own mobile number.
  2. Consent. You receive messages only after opting in — on our website, by texting JOIN, or in person. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving care.
  3. Message frequency. About seven messages per family over the months between clinic visits, plus responses to messages you send us.
  4. Cost. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan. Between Visits does not charge for messages.
  5. Opting out. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. Reply HELP for assistance. You can also contact peter@peterbittner.com.
  6. Not for urgent concerns. This program is not monitored in real time and is not for urgent medical concerns. If you are worried about your child's health, call your clinic; in an emergency call 911.
  7. Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  8. Privacy. See our Privacy Policy. Mobile numbers and opt-in data are never shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
