Between Visits
Text Message Program — Terms & Conditions
Last updated: July 2026
- Program description. Between Visits sends text messages to enrolled caregivers containing a secure link to their child's care plan summary and short structured check-in questions (answered by replying with a number). This is an early-stage pilot; no real patient information is used at this stage, and messages are sent only to people who have opted in and confirmed their own mobile number.
- Consent. You receive messages only after opting in — on our website, by texting JOIN, or in person. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving care.
- Message frequency. About seven messages per family over the months between clinic visits, plus responses to messages you send us.
- Cost. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan. Between Visits does not charge for messages.
- Opting out. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. Reply HELP for assistance. You can also contact peter@peterbittner.com.
- Not for urgent concerns. This program is not monitored in real time and is not for urgent medical concerns. If you are worried about your child's health, call your clinic; in an emergency call 911.
- Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Privacy. See our Privacy Policy. Mobile numbers and opt-in data are never shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
